Baby Gift Guide
A gift for a newborn welcomes the baby and congratulates the parents at once. This guide sorts by price the baskets Birbaby customers sent to new babies from Jun 2026 to Sep 2026, then explains how delivery works for a family home or an office anywhere Birbaby delivers in the United States.
- Same-day hand delivery only in New York City, Los Angeles and Northern New Jersey, on eligible gifts ordered by 11 a.m. local time
- Courier delivery to other eligible U.S. addresses, Monday to Friday
- Offices and apartment buildings: a concierge, reception or mailroom can take the gift
- Wine and champagne are handed only to someone 21 or older who shows photo ID
Find the delivery date for a ZIP code
Enter the ZIP code of the family's home, or of the office where the gift should go. The checker asks Birbaby's delivery service and returns the earliest date for that address, with the courier services it quotes.
Same-day hand delivery runs only in New York City, Los Angeles and Northern New Jersey, on eligible gifts. Other addresses go by courier on business days, and checkout confirms the date and the charge.
Delivery to the new parents
Same-day service covers three areas only; every other eligible address goes by courier. The usual courier windows for some of the larger cities are below, and the checker gives the date for any ZIP code.

Baby gifts by price
Each gift below is on sale today and was ordered for a new baby from Jun 2026 to Sep 2026. Orders from those few months are too few to show a clear favorite, so no gift is ranked: the three price groups simply run from least to most expensive, at today's prices.

How to choose a baby gift
Useful from day one
New parents go through diapers and blankets fast. The bunny basket for a baby girl, $51.99, pairs a plush bunny blanket and toy with Huggies Little Snugglers diapers, and the baby boy diaper basket, $74.99, adds washcloths and socks for a baby boy.
Boy, girl or not yet known
Birbaby keeps baby girl and baby boy collections side by side. When the family has not shared the news, pick from the gender-neutral baskets instead.
Something for the parents
Champagne or sparkling wine was in 12% of baby orders from Jun 2026 to Sep 2026. The wine and chocolate basket for mom adds a Kushies take-me-home set for the baby, and the pink champagne basket sets muslin swaddling blankets beside the bottle. Either one is handed only to someone 21 or older who shows photo ID.
One basket, well filled
98% of baby orders from Jun 2026 to Sep 2026 held one gift, so a single full basket is the norm. The lovely baby boy basket, $123.99, brings a musical plush, a bath toy, a knitted blanket and a Welcome Baby balloon, with coffee and a mug for the parents.
A larger welcome
For a grander gift, browse the premium baby gifts. The all fun, no cry set includes a reversible chamois blanket and a whale bath toy.
