Gifts leave our New Jersey or Los Angeles warehouse, whichever serves the address: orders placed by 2 p.m. Eastern in New Jersey or 12:30 p.m. Pacific in Los Angeles go out the same business day. Same-day hand delivery runs only where the checker answers local — in parts of New York City, North Jersey and the Los Angeles area — when the order is in by 11 a.m. in that city's own time. The charge depends on the recipient's ZIP: for most addresses the checker lists ground delivery at no charge, in some western areas (Arizona and Washington State among them) it lists only a paid courier rate, and a same-day charge shows at checkout.

No. The gift message carries your words and your name as you write them; your address, card and the price stay off the delivery.
What about a maternity ward?
Yes. Give the company or hospital name, floor or room, and a phone number; businesses are reached in business hours, and a delivery can be left with a concierge, reception, security desk, front desk, mailroom, loading area or delivery room.
