Same-day hand delivery runs only where the checker answers local — in parts of New York City, North Jersey and the Los Angeles area — when the order is in by 11 a.m. in that city's own time. The charge depends on the recipient's ZIP: for most addresses the checker lists ground delivery at no charge, in some western areas (Arizona and Washington State among them) it lists only a paid courier rate, and a same-day charge shows at checkout.
